INCENTIVES
Brazeau County is open for business. And welcomes all new investors, entrepreneurs, existing businesses, and residents.
We have one of the lowest overall municipal property tax rates in Alberta and in Canada, providing a substantial rebate for both residential and small business classes, adding to the Alberta Advantage of no sales or payroll taxes. The County believes money is best kept in the pockets of its ratepayers, to save, invest, and spend as they see fit.
Brazeau County is also a provincial leader in red tape reduction, consistently removing investment and development obstacles such as regulations and fees.
Council and staff are committed to applying an economic development lens to all governance and operations, seeking to encourage investment and growth for our County and beyond.
